How we met

Wilson and Emily met on the fateful night of November 22, 2019. Introduced by their dear mutual friend Sam (their officiant) at a Wayfair happy hour, it was love at first sight for both of them.

Eating a casual dinner together that evening at Life Alive on Boylston Street, Wilson got the news that his sister Katherine was in labor with his first niece, Margot.

It was a momentous & serentipudodus night to remember; a birthdate we’ll never forget.

The Proposal

On the evening of their 4 year anniversary, Wilson and Emily took a “loop” around their favorite spot in Brookline — Halls Pond. Rounding the corner, Emily spotted rose petals and Wilson’s guitar, Matilda. Sitting down on the angel wing rock bench, Wilson played the song he wrote the week they met. Emily teared up as she knew this would be one of the happiest memories of her life.

That night they did a few of their favorite things:

  • Perused the used section of the local bookstore

  • Shared a table with Chloe (Maid of Honor) and her soon-to-be husband, Sam

  • Made their waitstaff giggle with silly puns about food

  • Walked home barefoot

We look forward to sharing more on our wedding day!
